The following conditions form the basis of your contract with us and we request they are read carefully. Nothing in the booking conditions affect your normal statutory rights. May we recommend that holiday insurance is purchased to mitigate the financial risk of disruption to your holiday plans. Please note that any payments made are non refundable if you need to alter your arrangements within 14 days of the commencement of your booking start date. Please note that Lovesea Lodge is a non-smoking accommodation and we appreciate your co-operation.
To make your booking
If there are more than 60 days before your start date at time of booking, a deposit of 20% is required to reserve your dates.
Payment can be made by cheque or Bank Transfer/ Internet (bank details provided for this method of payment).
Full payment would be required if there are less than 60 days before the requested start date.
Non standard and extended bookings may be available, please contact us on Christina@lovesealodge.co.uk to discuss your requirements.
Booking confirmation will be emailed following receipt of initial deposit or full payment.
Paying for your booking
Please ensure that the balance of your holiday is paid in full at least 15 days prior to the commencement date as any payments outstanding at this point will be deemed to be a cancellation. A courtesy email reminder will be sent prior to the balance due date.
Booking Amendment or Cancellation
Please advise as soon as possible by email if you wish to amend or cancel your booking.
The cancellation policy is a follows:-
- If cancellation is 60 calendar days + prior to the start date of booking, then deposit fully refunded
- If cancellation is 29-59 calendar days prior to start of booking, then 50% of total cost will be refunded.
- If cancellation is 28-15 calendar days prior to start of booking, than 25% of total cost will be refunded.
- No payments can be refunded if a cancellation is received less than 15 days prior to the start date of your booking or at any time thereafter during the duration of your booking.
In the event that we would have to re-schedule or amend your booking in any way that was unacceptable to you, then all payments made would be refunded.
We appreciate that your personal circumstances may change and Lovesea Lodge will endeavour to accommodate your alternative needs wherever possible, subject to availability of the property.
Terms & Conditions
Arrival & Departure – Keys
Arrival is requested any time after 3pm on the first day of your booking. Keys are available from a key safe located at the property. Access information will be sent via email upon receipt of the final payment. We request departure by 10am on the final day of your stay.
The Property / Occupancy
The property’s sole use is for the purpose of a holiday by your party and if required the Owner or representative is allowed access at any reasonable time. The furnishings and accessories of Lovesea Lodge have been chosen with your comfort in mind and as such the number of occupants should not exceed six guests as detailed on the holiday booking form. Please treat the property and contents with due respect and follow any guidelines regarding parking, recycling etc.
We take pride in our property and try to ensure that the facilities are in good condition for the enjoyment of your stay. Could you please take care of the property and contents and report any faults upon your arrival so that these are not attributed to your time of occupancy. Following your stay, should there be evidence that damage or loss has been caused to the property and/or its contents, either wilfully, or through neglect, then we may take action to recover the costs of repair or replacement.
Holiday costs are inclusive of all utility charges and Wi-Fi is provided.
A folding cot and high chair are available on request at no extra cost.
Please note: For your dog to stay at Lovesea Lodge there is an additional charge of £20 for a 3-4 night stay and £35 for 7 nights.
Group and Single Sex Bookings
Group and single sex bookings are welcome on the understanding that from 10pm guests respect the need for privacy and quiet by other / neighbouring guests. The Bay for example wouldn’t be considered a suitable location for Stag or Hen parties. Please contact us to discuss your requirements further if you have any concerns as to whether this location is suitable for your holiday.
Our maximum liability for any losses incurred as a result of us being in breach of these terms and conditions or as a result of any circumstances beyond our control are limited to the total fees you have paid to us for the booking.
These booking conditions together with the quotation and booking confirmation email form the basis of the agreement between you and us relating to the booking.
To effectively meet your needs as our guest, we will ask for some personal details when you make a booking –

This information is stored on the servers of our website management company, on paper records, and locally on our systems.
All of the above services are fully GDPR compliant and every effort is made to keep your information secure at all times.
We will never ask for or store data which is not essential to us carrying out our services.
We will only use your contact information to communicate with you about your booking, or matters which directly affect you or your stay at Lovesea Lodge.
We will not share your data with any third parties without your express permission, unless we are required to do so by law.
At any time, you have the right to request –
- A copy of all of your personal information which is being stored
- To have any of the information updated
- To have all of your data removed from our systems
In order to carry out any of these requests we will have to ask for confirmation of your identity.

We take security seriously, and every effort is made to keep your data safe, secure and out of the wrong hands. However, should there be a breach at any time and your data has been involved, both you and the relevant authorities will be contacted directly.
